Acrylic

  • Building Chemist Acrylic is a brush-applied waterproofing coating designed for balconies, small terraces, wet areas, and chajjas. It provides an excellent impermeable coating and exhibits strong adhesion to cementitious surfaces. This versatile solution can be applied on both positive and negative sides of waterproofing, offering flexibility to accommodate minor cracks in concrete and plaster.
  • For waterproofing applications, mix Acrylic with cement in a ratio of 1:2 by weight and ensure thorough mixing. Apply two coats with a time gap of 4-6 hours for better reinforcement.
  • In cases of repair and bonding, the recommended mixing ratio for Acrylic and cement is 1:1 by weight. For polymer-modified cement mortar, the mixing ratio is 5 kg cement, 15 kg sand, and 1 kg Acrylic.
  • The coverage of Building Chemist Acrylic is approximately 5-6 sq.ft/Kg for two coats, or as per specific application conditions.
  • Packaging options include 1 liter, 5 liters, and 20 liters, catering to different project requirements.
